The frame is supplied with 9 sets of certified linear compression springs.  The loading nut and loading screw can be adjusted to accommodate specimen stack height differences up to 6.0”.  The concrete specimen load train will be supported on upper and lower compression platens that are hardened to 60 Rc.  One of the platens will be provided with a spherical seat for alignment of the load train.  The fixture will accommodate five test specimens 6” diameter by 12” tall.
