The tubular specimen grip includes two grip face assembles that are attached to the test machine at the upper and lower positions.  Each grip assembly has six jaws that are eccentrically loading around the tubular specimen.  Each jaw has “V” grip faces with 25 teeth per inch.  The jaws are brought together be a central loading gear.  The jaw faces are replaceable and interchangeable if needed. The specimen is inserted into the upper or lower grip assembly.  The grips are brought together and the grip faces brought into contact with the specimen.  The faces are moved together by turning a single loading bolt.
